For green stuff...Hi Mike, thanks for your comment.<br /><br />For green stuff, I tend to start working with it right after mixing. At this point it is at it's softest and easiest to move and blend into previous layers so I will work it into the rough shape I'm after, blend the edges in and then begin to work the detail.<br /><br />As the putty gets firmer, you can begin to work on getting a smooth finish. Usually after about an hour you can start to "polish" the surface with circular movements to get a nice smooth, clean finish.<br /><br />Hope that helps?
